Castle Update -Cardigan Castle and Castle Green House have undergone major restoration-…The whole site has officially opened!!  After a very busy soft launch on Wednesday April 15th 2015. And what a lot of work they have done there too. The site is evolving daily and it’s well worth buying a season ticket for yearly entry! A list of concerts and events at the castle site are available online. And castle Green House has just been awarded ‘Restoration of the year’.

The All Wales Coast Path!…..Many beautiful coastal miles to wander, Ceredigion has many of those spectacular miles!

 Last Saturday in April Its Barley Saturday!-The traditional parade of Shire horses, ponies and vintage vehicles, one of the largest in Wales. Once again another fabulous day for Cardigan town, quite a spectacle! ..always on the last Saturday in April!…The Same day for almost 150 years!

Welsh Wildlife Visitor Centre And Cafe – Cilgerran -Walk there on the path over the bridge and along the river from Cardigan town, or meander through the decked marshes -A vast list of activities there throughout the year. Also home to a locally made giant wicker badger sculpture.

Remember Remember 10th November Cardigan’s annual Fair day/night-The whole town lined with stalls, and a fun fair to top the evening off!  Another long standing traditional event.
