Over the past 16 years Custom House Shop and Gallery has helped hundreds of local, talented artists and makers to sell their work. ‘With a policy that aims to concentrate on selling work by artists/makers and designers based within a 25 mile radius of Cardigan, helping to plough back funds directly into the local economy. Proving that Cardigan and its surrounding area has a wonderful and unique range of creative, motivated and dedicated craftspeople who are so passionate about their varied areas of discipline. Custom House Shop and Gallery offers them that ideal platform from which to shout about it!!! ….We would also just like to say a big ‘thank you’ for the loyalty and professionalism of all the creative people that have sold work via Custom House Shop and Gallery and Design agency, and of course this goes without saying to all our discerning customers who have a great appreciation for the unique and for something a little bit different! Custom House Shop and Gallery, Cardigan is run and directed by Karina Servini. After attending Cenarth primary school and Cardigan Secondary school, Karina went on to Carmarthen Art College and then on to train at Ravensbourne. Karina has a degree in Industrial/Product Design. After graduating, Karina later returned to Cardigan from London and worked as a freelance designer. On seeing the ‘Old Custom House’ in Saint Mary Street for sale, she proceeded to purchase it, and entered into a journey of restoration, setting up ‘Custom House Shop and Gallery’ along the way. ‘Coming from a long family line of successful Welsh business people, setting up my own business was an ambition from a very early age. My great grandmother was always a great inspiration as she set up one of the first transport companies in Wales’. …………Karina

With a 600 year family history in Wales all at Custom House, though non natural welsh speakers, embrace the welsh language and culture and endevour to promote Wales and its amazing culture, architecture, landscape, and people.
